Winemaker's Background: Founded over a century ago in Costalunga di Monteforte d’Alpone, La Cappuccina is renowned for its commitment to organic and biodynamic farming. The estate's name is derived from a 15th-century chapel where Capuchin monks once celebrated religious services. Today, the Tessari family—Sisto, Pietro, Elena, and their father Lorenzo—oversees all aspects of wine production, adhering strictly to organic farming principles. The vineyards, rooted in lavic basalt soil, benefit from meticulous agronomic practices aimed at enhancing biodiversity and ecological balance. La Cappuccina's dedication to quality and sustainability is evident in every bottle, making their wines a true expression of their volcanic terroir.
