Select Tier

This month’s Select Tier celebrates Austria and Germany through a vibrant lineup of reds, whites, and rosé that showcase the diversity and drinkability of Central European wine. From Burgenland, Weinbau Erich Sattler’s Zweigelt leads with juicy dark cherry and soft spice, a perfect everyday red with easy charm. Also from Burgenland, Gober & Freinbichler’s ‘Chill’ lives up to its name—light, fresh, and wonderfully gulpable with bright fruit and no pretense. Weingut J. & H. A. Strub’s Spätburgunder from Rheinhessen delivers German Pinot Noir with finesse and clarity, showing delicate red berries and subtle earth. Weingut Schodl’s Dorflagen St. Laurent brings a darker tone, with plum and violet notes wrapped in sleek tannins. For white wine lovers, Heidi Schröck & Söhne’s ‘More is More’ is a fun, textural blend bursting with orchard fruit and a whisper of spice, while Schlosskellerei Gobelsburg’s ‘Cistercien’ Rosé layers red berries and mineral notes in a dry, food-friendly frame that’s as refreshing as it is elegant.

Premium Tier

This month’s Premium Tier lineup brings together expressive, terroir-driven wines from some of Europe’s most compelling producers. From Germany’s Pfalz, the Von Winning ‘I’ Sauvignon Blanc Trocken offers smoky minerality and sharp precision, echoing the structure of fine white Bordeaux. Burgundy’s Domaine A. & P. de Villaine delivers their Bouzeron Aligoté with bright acidity and understated elegance, highlighting the grape’s potential in skilled hands. For lovers of traditional reds, the Bodega Akutain Reserva from Rioja shows layered notes of dried cherry, leather, and spice, while Chateau Grand-Puy-Lacoste’s ‘Lacoste-Borie’ from Pauillac brings cassis and graphite in a polished, approachable Left Bank frame. Austria’s Weingut Martin Muthenthaler contributes a high-altitude Grüner Veltliner with citrus lift and white pepper bite, and Galicia’s Vinos do Macizo Ourensan stuns with the ‘Peixes da Rocha’ Tinto—a floral, granitic field blend brimming with freshness. Rounding out the set, Domaine 47°N 3°E’s ‘Guillaume Michaut’ Chablis is all about purity and poise, with crisp orchard fruit and signature limestone tension.

Private Sommelier Tier

Each month, our Private Sommelier Tier offers a curated selection tailored to the unique needs of our clients—whether stocking a collector’s cellar or selecting the perfect bottles for a special gathering, each wine is handpicked with individualized attention and custom pricing.

This month’s highlights include three benchmark Barolos: Cavallotto’s Bricco Boschis, a structured and age-worthy expression from one of the region’s most respected traditionalists; Azelia’s ‘San Rocco’, a darker, denser take with notes of black cherry, tar, and spice from prized Serralunga fruit; and Paolo Scavino’s ‘Bric del Fiasc’, a powerful, polished Nebbiolo that balances richness with tension and longevity. From Burgundy, Patrick Piuze’s Bougros Grand Cru Chablis offers riveting mineral intensity and finely etched citrus, a rare find from a master of terroir-driven whites. Crossing to California, the Tesseron Estate ‘Pym-Rae’ Bordeaux Blend brings the elegance of its Pauillac roots to the Napa Valley, with dark fruit, graphite, and deep structure wrapped in a polished, modern frame.
