Sensory Description
'Cuvée 791' delights with its lively interplay of aromas and flavors. On the nose, vibrant notes of citrus zest, green apple, and white peach emerge, mingling with delicate floral accents and a subtle toasty character. The wine presents a luminous pale gold hue, complemented by a stream of fine, persistent bubbles that foreshadow its vibrancy. On the palate, its lively acidity is balanced by a creamy texture that envelops flavors of bright citrus fruits and green apple, underscored by a well-integrated minerality. A touch of brioche adds richness, enhancing the wine’s overall complexity. The finish is long and refreshing, with a lingering minerality that leaves an invigorating, memorable impression.
Producer's Background

For main courses, try it alongside grilled white fish served with a citrus beurre blanc. To finish, it complements light desserts like lemon tart or yuzu panna cotta.

Lafalise Froissart
Lafalise Froissart’s story is deeply rooted in the history of Verzenay. The family’s journey began in the late 19th century with Charles Chauvet, who established the first vineyards. Over the decades, the estate grew despite the challenges of two world wars, with each generation adding their unique contributions to its legacy. Today, the estate spans five hectares, with Grand Cru vineyards in Verzenay and Verzy, and a small Premier Cru plot in Dizy.
