Lafalise Froissart’s story is deeply rooted in the history of Verzenay. The family’s journey began in the late 19th century with Charles Chauvet, who established the first vineyards. Over the decades, the estate grew despite the challenges of two world wars, with each generation adding their unique contributions to its legacy. Today, the estate spans five hectares, with Grand Cru vineyards in Verzenay and Verzy, and a small Premier Cru plot in Dizy.

Paul Froissart brings a modern perspective to winemaking, blending his family’s traditions with cutting-edge, low-intervention techniques. The estate is organic-certified and employs biodynamic farming practices to enhance the health of the vines and soils.
