The palate unfolds with a firm structure and lively acidity, showcasing Krakhuna’s velvety body, Tsitska’s fresh lift, and Tsolikouri’s balanced, mineral-driven finish. Texturally complex yet agile, it delivers floral and earthy nuances interwoven with subtle spice and tea-like tannins, creating a wine of remarkable depth and versatility.

Winemaker's Background:

Baia Abuladze and her siblings are pioneers in Georgia’s natural wine revival. Based in the village of Obcha in Imereti, the family has farmed their ancestral vineyards for generations, but it wasn’t until 2015 that Baia officially established Baia’s Wine. Focused on traditional qvevri vinification and organic practices, the winery has quickly become one of the country’s most respected boutique producers. Baia and her sister Gvantsa are particularly known for championing indigenous varieties and reviving old methods, blending deep local knowledge with global sensibility.

Serving Suggestions:

Serve slightly chilled at 10–12°C in a white wine or tulip glass to emphasize the wine’s aromatics and structure. An ideal companion to grilled poultry, trout, vegetarian moussaka, fresh cheeses like feta or halloumi, and Georgian dishes like khachapuri or pkhali.

The 2021 Baia's Wine Tsitska - Tsolikouri - Krakhuna is a profound expression of Imereti’s terroir and Georgia’s enduring winemaking legacy—a benchmark orange wine that offers both character and cultural depth in every sip.
