Playful yet refined, the 2024 Brooks Amycas showcases the Willamette Valley’s remarkable ability to bring aromatic white varietals together in harmony. Sensory Description:
Amycas opens with heady aromas of citrus blossom, clementine, peach, and exotic dragon fruit. The palate is lively and layered, offering flavors of lemon, star fruit, golden apple, lychee, and mango. Crisp acidity provides lift and balance, while the blend’s textural depth lends a round yet refreshing mouthfeel. The impression is joyful and aromatic, with a finish that lingers on notes of stone fruit and tropical brightness.
Winemaker's Background:
Founded in 1998 by the late Jimi Brooks, Brooks Winery is built on a philosophy of honoring place, tradition, and community. Today, the estate is carried forward by Jimi’s family and winemaker Chris Williams, who remains committed to organic and biodynamic farming. The winery’s mission is not only to create wines that authentically express Willamette Valley terroir but also to protect the land and ecosystem for generations to come.
Serving Suggestions:
Serve chilled at 45–50°F (7–10°C). The 2024 Brooks Amycas is a versatile companion for fresh seafood, aromatic Thai or Vietnamese dishes, soft cheeses, or simply as an aperitif. Its balance of fruit, floral lift, and crisp acidity makes it equally at home at a summer picnic or a fine dining table.
The 2024 Brooks Amycas is an exuberant yet thoughtful blend that captures the spirit of Brooks Winery, vivid, expressive, and deeply rooted in Oregon’s Willamette Valley.
