Wild Common Still Strength Tequila Blanco opens with dazzling aromas of bright citrus, warm cinnamon, and subtle anise, underscored by clean roasted agave. On the palate, a velvety texture frames layers of herbal spice, citrus oils, and minerality. The high proof intensifies its complexity while maintaining balance, and the finish is long, warm, and evolving, with lingering notes of peppercorn, fresh herbs, and agave sweetness that stay with you long after the last sip.

Awards & Accolades:

  • Gold – 2024 San Francisco World Spirits Competition
  • Critic Tasting Note (Whisky Advocate):
“A blend of two whiskeys: a high-rye bourbon and a whiskey made with 48% rye, 40% corn, and 12% malted barley. Dill, tarragon, spearmint, iced tea, cured tobacco leaf, roasted nuts, red apple, black cherry, and lemonade on the nose. A balanced and textured palate, with iced tea, dark fruit, roasted pecans, mild spice, and rich chocolate flavors. More richness on the finish, which is lengthy and lush, with dark chocolate, pecans, and iced tea. This is well-proofed, but a little water makes it sing.”

Distiller's Background:

Wild Common was founded by National Geographic photographer and adventurer Andy Bardon, who partnered with the Rosales family of Cascahuin, one of Mexico’s most revered tequila producers with a legacy dating back to 1904. Together, they created a tequila brand dedicated to sustainability, transparency, and traditional production. The distillery is run by Don Salvador Rosales Torres and his sons, including Salvador “Chava” Rosales Trejo, who crafts each batch with a meticulous respect for heritage. Wild Common's mission is rooted in sharing honest agave spirits that honor community, culture, and the land.
