    La Alte–a distillery is founded by Don Felipe Camarena Hern‡ndez inÊJuly 7, 1937, and in 1940 began selling tequila 100% Blue agave with the brand name Tapat’o.

    Aged 18 months in American white oak barrels, previously used in aging Whiskey.

    Sweet and spicy.ÊCooked Agave, Cocoa and vanilla combined with pepper, walnut and some berries.ÊVegetables and Woody notes.ÊA soft, silky and very long finish with spices persisting in the back of the palate.
