Sensory Description
The nose opens with sweet cooked agave layered alongside light oak, vanilla, toasted almonds, and clove. On the palate, the experience is smooth and balanced, revealing subtle spice—cinnamon and black pepper—along with gentle citrus blossom and tropical fruit notes, plus hints of marzipan or caramel sweetness. The finish is long, aromatic, and soft with warming undertones and a delicate nutty minerality.

Distiller’s Background
Since 1857, the Gallardo family has overseen production at Hacienda Los Camichines in Jalisco. Lázaro Gallardo, acknowledged as the first maestro tequilero, developed the Selección Suave method to ensure consistent smoothness by blending older and richer batches. Gran Centenario remains a family-led, small-batch operation in the highlands, maintaining traditional techniques while embracing consistent quality and accessibility.

Serve chilled between 45–50 °F in a rocks glass or copa to enjoy neat or with a single large ice cube to enhance aromatic complexity.
