Sensory Description:

The Sori Gramella bursts with aromas of spring wildflowers, succulent ripe grapes, fragrant citrus blossoms, and delicate white peaches. On the palate, it charms with notes of juicy mandarin, honeysuckle, and a whisper of fresh apricot. Sweet but never cloying, its fine mousse and razor-sharp acidity cleanse the palate and provide an invigorating contrast to its perfumed richness. Each sip finishes with a gentle tickle of effervescence and a crystalline purity that leaves the mouth refreshed and delighted.

Winemaker's Background:

The story of Elvio Tintero’s estate begins with French-born Pierre Tintero, who arrived in Piedmont in 1900 and fell in love with both the land and a local widow named Rosina. The winery was officially named after Elvio, Pierre’s descendant, who revolutionized its production in the 1980s by mastering the delicate process of frizzante winemaking. Today, the fourth generation—Marco and Cinzia Tintero—carry forward the family’s tradition on the dramatic slopes of Mango in the Gramella area. Known for their unwavering commitment to quality, sustainable viticulture, and the soulful expression of Moscato, the Tintero family continues to produce wines that are deeply tied to their landscape and heritage.

Serving Suggestions:

Serve well-chilled at 6–8°C in a white wine or tulip glass to preserve its delicate aromas and lively bubbles. Perfectly paired with panna cotta, stone fruit cobblers, or classic tiramisu, it also provides a brilliant contrast to spicy dishes like Szechuan chicken or glazed wings—an unexpected and delightful match.

The 2023 Elvio Tintero Sori Gramella Moscato d’Asti is a sparkling treasure from the sun-kissed slopes of Piedmont. With its irresistible perfume, gentle fizz, and elegant sweetness, it is an invitation to rediscover the pleasure of perfectly crafted dessert wine, one joyous sip at a time.
