Elegant, subtle, and remarkably food-friendly, this is an artisanal alternative to Champagne that reflects the singular charm of Loire Chenin Blanc.

Winemaker's Background:

Champalou is a multigenerational family estate rooted in the traditions of Vouvray, where Catherine (12th generation) and Didier (6th generation) established their own domaine in the 1980s. Their vision was to produce terroir-expressive wines in a region historically dominated by sparkling production. By prioritizing sustainability, low-intervention methods, and bottling all their wines on site, they’ve helped redefine the standards of Vouvray. Céline Champalou, having trained across the globe, from New Zealand to Canada, joined the domaine in 2006, continuing the family’s commitment to independent, quality-driven winemaking.

Serving Suggestions:

Serve chilled at 8–10°C (46–50°F). This sparkling Vouvray is perfect as an aperitif, yet versatile enough to accompany everything from shellfish and fresh cheeses to poultry dishes and fruit-based desserts. The combination of creamy texture and mineral drive makes it a standout at any celebration or refined pairing table.

Champalou Vouvray Pétillant Méthode Traditionnelle Brut is a stunning representation of Loire sparkling, elegant, expressive, and crafted with heart by a family rooted in tradition and innovation.
