Sensory Description
This vivid, rose-pink wine with subtle salmon glints exudes an inviting floral and citrus-splashed nose. The palate delivers a lively blend of red currants, tart berries, and fresh herbs, underscored by zesty acidity and a delicate saline finish—a nod to its maritime origins. Refreshing and finely textured, it finishes long, crisp, and wonderfully “more-ish.”

Winemaker’s Background
Mas de Daumas Gassac was founded in the early 1970s by Véronique and Aimé Guibert, visionaries who saw immense potential in the rugged Gassac valley near Aniane. With guidance from geologists and legendary oenologist Émile Peynaud, they created a wine legacy that challenged perceptions of the Languedoc. Today, the estate is managed by their children—Samuel, Gaël, Roman, and Basile—who have remained committed to their parents’ founding principle: respect for the land. Through sustainable viticulture, native yeast fermentations, and minimal intervention, the Guibert family crafts wines that are elegant, expressive, and environmentally mindful.

Serving Suggestions

This versatile rosé shines as an aperitif or paired with grilled white meats, fresh seafood, leafy salads, fried fare, and even fruit-driven desserts. Its food-friendly structure and crisp profile make it a standout companion for casual meals or festive gatherings alike.
