There’s nothing ordinary about the 2024 Licence IV Rosé, it’s crafted to be as bold and vibrant as the moments it celebrates. Born from certified organic vineyards in the Gard and Hérault, this wine captures the sun-soaked spirit of southern France in every sip. Playful, refreshing, and unapologetically lively, it’s a rosé made for good times and shared tables.

Sensory Description:
This rosé bursts with aromas of pink grapefruit, fresh strawberry, and a whisper of wild herbs. On the palate, it’s crisp and energetic, balancing ripe red berry fruit with citrus zest and a saline minerality that nods to its Mediterranean roots. Light-bodied yet concentrated, the finish is dry, refreshing, and playfully persistent.
Winemaker's Background:
Licence IV takes its name from the French permit allowing cafes, restaurants, hotels, and nightclubs to serve alcohol, an emblem still displayed on plaques across France. For founder Gregory Castells, the project is deeply personal, rooted in memories of his family’s bar in the South of France, where community was built around shared wine and conversation. Today, Licence IV honors that legacy with wines designed to be enjoyed casually, poured generously, and always shared among friends.
Serving Suggestions:
Serve well-chilled at 8–10 °C. Perfect on its own for sunny afternoons, Licence IV Rosé also pairs beautifully with Provençal classics like salade niçoise, grilled vegetables, or herbed chicken. It’s equally at home with sushi, charcuterie, or simply enjoyed with friends at a picnic or rooftop gathering.
The 2024 Licence IV Rosé is more than just a wine; it’s an invitation to embrace the French art of living in the moment. Bright, flavorful, and refreshingly unpretentious, it’s a rosé that turns any occasion into a celebration.
