Sensory Description:

Pale coral in hue, this rosé greets the nose with lifted aromatics of wild strawberry, white peach, and coastal herbs. On the palate, it's bright and textural, with notes of watermelon rind, tangerine, and sea spray, underpinned by a subtle savory edge from extended lees aging. A silky finish rounds out this elegant yet energetic wine, marrying freshness with finesse.

Winemaker's Background:

Lady of the Sunshine is the personal project of Gina Giugni, a second-generation biodynamic farmer and winemaker, rooted in regenerative agriculture and minimal intervention. The label was founded in 2017 and reflects Gina’s commitment to crafting vibrant, soulful wines from consciously farmed sites along California’s Central Coast. From biodynamic viticulture to native yeast fermentation and no fining or filtration, every wine is made to honor the land it comes from—pure, honest, and alive.

Serving Suggestions:

Serve chilled at 50–55°F to capture the wine’s lively aromatics and crisp acidity. A perfect partner for coastal cuisine like grilled prawns, ceviche, or herbed goat cheese, this rosé shines as a standalone aperitif or picnic companion.

Fresh, sincere, and sun-kissed, the 2024 Lady of the Sunshine Sauvignon Blanc - Pinot Noir Rosé captures the essence of the Central Coast with a natural elegance that lingers long after the glass is empty.
