Wine Description:

Only 9,900 bottles of this wine were produced from within the newly created appleation of Hemel-en-Aarde Ridge. This cool climate creates a complex earthy and fruity juxtaposition. The temperate climate, only 10km from the Atlantic ocean, means the wind keeps consistent sea mist blowing across the vines. After harvest, the pinot noir grapes were aged in imported French Oak barriques, 30% new, giving it a smooth character.
