On the palate, its featherweight body is met by a vibrant core of acidity, showcasing ripe stone fruits, hints of citrus zest, and a mineral tension that carries through to an elegant, mouthwatering finish. Each sip delivers both power and grace, offering a true field blend snapshot of this special Burgenland site.

Winemaker's Background:

Since 1983, Heidi Schröck has led her family’s historic estate in Rust, Burgenland, Austria, just miles from the Hungarian border, into global prominence. Awarded "Falstaff Vintner of the Year" in 2003, Heidi is celebrated for reviving rare varietals and pioneering both classic and experimental expressions of the region. Today, her twin sons, Johannes and Georg Schröck, join her in carrying forward this legacy, carefully farming 10 hectares of steep, loamy vineyards and crafting wines that are both deeply rooted in tradition and refreshingly innovative.

Serving Suggestions:

Serve chilled at 8–10°C in a tulip-shaped white wine glass to capture the wine’s nuanced aromatics and lively structure. Perfectly suited for a wide range of occasions, it pairs effortlessly with pan-fried wild salmon, herbed potato salads, fresh mixed greens with vinaigrette, grilled poultry, or Mediterranean mezze. Its versatility makes it equally at home with brunch, lunch, or elegant evening fare.

The 2021 Heidi Schrock & Söhne Tour de Rose, Burgenland, Austria, offers a captivating journey through one of Austria’s most distinctive terroirs, revealing the beauty and complexity of its ancient, co-planted vineyards with each nuanced sip.
