Cool climate region and one of the best suited for premium Pinot Noir and Chardonnay production. Close proximity to the pacific ocean and heavily influenced by the Monterey Bay and Salinas Valley. One of the longest grape growing seasons with morning fog and maritime winds, all helping preserve natural acidity and full flavor development. Primarily sandy loam soils with unique diversity in flavors from north to south as well as by elevation.
