Producer's Background:
Founded in 1662 by Kichizaemon Tatsuuma, Tatsuuma-Honke Brewing Co. has been producing sake in Nishinomiya for over 350 years. Positioned in Japan’s renowned Nada region, famed for its “miyamizu” brewing water, the brewery has grown into one of the most respected names in the industry. Under generations of family leadership, including key innovations led by Kiyo Tatsuuma in the 19th century, the company has continuously advanced both quality and global recognition, becoming one of Japan’s most historic and celebrated sake producers.
Serving Suggestions:
Serve slightly chilled (10-12°C), at room temperature, or gently warmed in a traditional ochoko or white wine glass. Pairs exceptionally well with sushi, tempura, yakitori, teriyaki, ramen, stir-fried vegetables, Asian noodles, spring rolls, barbecued meats, pizza, green salads, and a variety of grilled or lightly spiced dishes.
