Dolin Vermouth de Chambéry Rouge is a timeless expression of French vermouth tradition, crafted in the Alpine town of Chambéry since the early 19th century. Known for its elegance and balance, this Rouge variety embodies a rich history and the artisanal spirit that earned Chambéry, France’s only AOC for vermouth in 1932.

The palate is smooth, layered, and slightly sweet with a subtle bitterness at its base, creating a profile that is both rich and balanced. Producer’s Background:

The Dolin legacy began in 1815 with Joseph Chavasse, who drew upon the abundance of Alpine plants to craft liqueurs and, later, in 1821, vermouth. By 1830, the family had settled in Chambéry, where the tradition of Vermouth de Chambéry was established. In 1843, Louis-Ferdinand Dolin married into the family and lent his name to the brand. Since 1919, the Sevez family has carried forward the Dolin tradition, preserving recipes and methods that have remained unchanged for nearly two centuries. Today, Dolin remains the last authentic producer of Vermouth de Chambéry, staying faithful to the terroir, local sourcing, and craftsmanship that define its heritage.
