Lees aging lends a subtle roundness that softens the wine’s natural acidity, creating a beautifully textured mouthfeel. The finish is long and zesty, echoing citrus and saline notes that invite another sip.

Winemaker's Background:

Allan Scott has been a leading figure in Marlborough’s wine evolution since the 1970s, recognized as one of the region’s true pioneers. In 1990, he established his family-run estate, which continues to define quality and innovation in New Zealand winemaking. Today, his son Josh Scott oversees production, combining precision, sustainability, and artistry in every bottle. Under his direction, Sandy Cove is produced exclusively for David Bowler Wine in limited quantities, a refined expression of Marlborough terroir that showcases the family’s deep knowledge and passion.
