Winemaker's Background:

Château de Chamirey stands proudly overlooking the village of Mercurey and has been a benchmark of the Côte Chalonnaise since the 18th century. In 1934, the Marquis de Jouennes pioneered estate bottling here, an innovative move for its time. Today, the estate spans 95 acres, with 38 planted to renowned Premier Cru vineyards. The domaine continues its legacy under the careful stewardship of the Devillard family, practicing traditional Burgundian viticulture and vinification methods aimed at expressing the unique qualities of its terroirs.
