Sensory Description
The nose is lifted and expressive, blooming with violet, blueberry, and crushed rose petals, followed by notes of ripe black cherry, pink peppercorn, and a faint touch of granite dust. As it opens, layers of dark plum, licorice, and dried thyme emerge, hinting at the wine’s savory undertones and mineral depth.
On the palate, the 2022 Corcelette shows remarkable poise. Silky tannins and vibrant acidity cradle flavors of wild raspberry, red currant, and forest floor. The wine’s energy is palpable—both lithe and grounded—culminating in a long, stony finish that hums with quiet power.
