Sensory Description:

Pale straw with copper reflections, this Pinot Grigio reveals aromas of peach, melon, citrus, and delicate florals. On the palate, it offers ripe stone fruit and crisp apple layered with spice, saline minerality, and a touch of texture from skin contact. Fresh yet substantial, the finish is long, clean, and balanced.

Winemaker's Background:

Simon di Brazzan is an estate in Brazzano di Cormons, Friuli, dedicated to biodynamic viticulture and authentic terroir expression. Led by Daniele Drius, the winery combines traditional methods with careful innovation, focusing on minimal intervention, manual harvests, and blending techniques that highlight the richness of the Isonzo soils. Their Pinot Grigio has earned a reputation for depth and character beyond the typical style.

Serving Suggestions:

Serve at 50–54 °F (10–12 °C) in a white wine glass. Excellent with shellfish, grilled fish, spring vegetables, goat cheese, and mushroom dishes. Its balance of fruit and minerality also makes it a versatile match for lightly spiced cuisines.

The 2022 Simon di Brazzan Pinot Grigio showcases the potential of Friuli Isonzo Pinot Grigio as both approachable and complex, an elegant, textured white that captures its terroir with honesty.
