Since 1790, Sandeman has been synonymous with excellence in fortified wines. Founded by George Sandeman in London, the brand quickly gained a reputation for quality and innovation. Sandeman was one of the first to brand its wines, setting a benchmark for consistency. Now owned by Sogrape Vinhos, the company continues to thrive, combining centuries of tradition with modern winemaking techniques under the guidance of winemaker Luis Sottomayor.

Production and Aging
This wine is produced using the traditional Porto method, with hand-picked grapes undergoing stalk-removal and crushing before fermentation. Carefully managed maceration ensures optimal extraction of color and flavor. After fortification, the wines age for 2 to 5 years in oak casks in Vila Nova de Gaia, resulting in an average age of 3 years. The final blend is cold-stabilized and filtered for consistency.

Serving Suggestions
Serve slightly chilled, between 57–61°F, in a Port glass to emphasize its fruity aromas and smooth texture. Enjoy with creamy cheeses, chocolate desserts, or fruit pies.
