Sensory Description:

The nose opens in layers: floral tones of narcissus, jasmine, and carnation mingling with wildflower honey, candied prunes, orange peel, toasted nuts, cedarwood, roasted coffee, and a touch of vanilla. Subtle notes of rancio, port, and liquorice emerge with air. On the palate, this Cognac is supple yet full-bodied, marked by remarkable roundness and aromatic intensity. Waves of dried fruits and oak give way to the distinctive flavor of Agen prune, leading into an endlessly long and fragrant finish.

The G&C Raby estate is based at the historic Logis de la Brée in Segonzac, heart of the Grande Champagne cru and home of Knight Croix Maron, the legendary inventor of Charente’s double distillation. For five generations, the Raby family has cultivated 35 hectares of Ugni Blanc, continuing a legacy of precision and patience. Today, Gérard Raby and his daughter Cécile guide the domaine, carrying forward both the family’s traditions and the prestige of Grande Champagne’s chalk-rich soils, renowned for producing the finest eaux-de-vie.
