🍷 2022 Foris Vineyards 'Estate Grown' Pinot Blanc, Rogue Valley, Oregon: A Pacific Northwest Jewel in Denver's Wine Collection 🏔️

Denver's wine connoisseurs prepare to be captivated by the 2022 Foris Vineyards 'Estate Grown Pinot Blanc from Oregon's Rogue Valley. This Pinot Blanc is a testament to the diversity and quality of the Pacific Northwest's wine country, offering a unique experience to our local wine scene.

A Northwest Wine Adventure: The 2022 Foris Vineyards Pinot Blanc is not just a bottle of wine; it's a journey through the varied and fascinating climate of Oregon's Rogue Valley. The vintage tells a story of resilience and adaptability, from the challenges of a cold frost in April to a warm finish in October, resulting in a wine with remarkable character and depth.

Tasting Experience: The wine presents a golden straw hue, inviting you into its subtle yet complex world. On the nose, it features a delicate floral character with less overt fruit, leading to a palate rich in nuances. Expect a medium-bodied wine with a blend of pear, less ripe kiwi, and crisp acidity, culminating in a finish with floral briny Meyer lemon notes.

Vintage Insights: The 2022 vintage was a rollercoaster for Oregon winemakers. The early frost impacted bud break, but favorable bloom conditions and a generous fruit set followed. Despite the earlier challenges, the small clusters and berries ripened quickly under the warm fall temperatures, resulting in a vintage with intense flavors and one of the quickest picking windows in recent years.

Winemaking Process: Pinot Blanc was harvested between October 12th and 13th, 2022. The grapes underwent whole cluster pressing and settled for two days before being racked off solids. After four months, fermentation took place in small stainless steel tanks, and the wine was bottled on April 12th, 2023. The final analysis at bottling showed a pH of 3.26, total acidity (TA) of 6.3 g/L, alcohol content at 13.5%, and residual sugar (RS) of 0.5 g/L. A total of 796 cases were produced.

Perfect Pairings: This Pinot Blanc is incredibly versatile, pairing beautifully with light seafood dishes, creamy pastas, and various cheeses. It's an excellent choice for both casual gatherings and more formal dinners.

Your Denver Experience: In Denver, where the appreciation for fine wines is as high as our altitude, the 2022 Foris Vineyards Pinot Blanc is a delightful addition. Whether hosting a dinner party or enjoying a quiet evening, this wine brings the essence of the Pacific Northwest to your glass.

Explore Oregon's Finest: Ready to experience the splendor of Oregon's wine country in the comfort of your home in Denver?
