Sensory Description:

In the glass, the wine reveals a pale straw hue with glints of green. Aromas of citrus zest, lime blossom, and white flowers rise delicately, underscored by a subtle herbal lift. The palate is crisp and refreshing, balancing bright citrus fruit with a hint of minerality from the clay-limestone soils. Six months of lees stirring lend a supple texture, while the finish is long, zesty, and mouthwatering, leaving an invigorating impression.

Winemaker's Background:

Domaine Ricardelle de Lautrec is located in the heart of Coursan, in the Aude department, at the crossroads of the Clape, Minervois, and Corbières terroirs. The property once belonged to the Toulouse-Lautrec family, and its 19th-century cellars testify to its rich heritage. Today, Lionel and Cathy Boutié continue the work of more than four generations, farming 50 hectares of vines organically and biodynamically. With harvests timed to lunar cycles and fermentations carried out with native yeasts, the domaine seeks to create wines that harmonize tradition, nature, and innovation.

Serving Suggestions:

Serve well-chilled at 8–10 °C. This Sauvignon Blanc is ideal as an aperitif and pairs beautifully with shellfish, grilled fish, goat cheese, seasonal salads, and light vegetarian dishes. Its bright acidity and mineral finish also make it a refreshing partner for Mediterranean cuisine.
