A Canavese Crown Jewel: The Cieck Erbaluce
History and Pedigree: A Legacy Etched in the Vines
Nestled in the heart of the Erbaluce di Caluso DOCG, Italy, the Cieck Erbaluce is a testament to the Canavese terroir's rich tapestry. Cherished by Marilena, the matriarch of a wine-loving family, this Erbaluce encapsulates the purest expression of its varietal. It's a selection harmonized from estate-owned vineyards, each grape whispering the stories of the land, the people, and a tradition cultivated over generations.
Production Highlights: A Symphony of Tradition and Technology
The Cieck Erbaluce is cultivated meticulously in pergola-trained vineyards, flourishing in loose, moraine soils rich in stone at an elevation where the sun kisses the grapes with just the right warmth. With an impressive lineage spanning 50 years, these vines are a testament to the dedication to quality and sustainability. The grapes are destemmed and pressed, then undergo a low-temperature fermentation for 21 days to capture the essence of Erbaluce, followed by a four-month steel maturation to achieve stability and character.
