Vivid, saline, and unapologetically authentic, the Equipo Navazos Manzanilla en Rama, Andalucía, Spain, is a raw and expressive sherry bottled with minimal intervention to preserve all the energy of its time under flor. This is Manzanilla at its most vibrant—unfined, lightly filtered, and aged just over four years in traditional Sanlúcar butts. A tribute to both the elegance of this style and the wild intensity of nature, “I Think” reflects Equipo Navazos’ unyielding pursuit of truth in winemaking.

Sensory Description:
A brilliant golden hue signals the wine’s intensity. On the nose, aromas of sea spray, chamomile, roasted almonds, and crushed oyster shell lead into a savory, umami-rich palate. The texture is taut and bracing, layered with green olive, saline minerality, and hints of bitter citrus peel. A distinctly dry finish closes with elegance and persistent flor character, making this a compelling benchmark for lovers of traditionally crafted Manzanilla.
Winemaker's Background:
Equipo Navazos was founded by a group of passionate Spanish and international wine professionals who sought to unearth the hidden treasures of Andalucía’s sherry country. Since 2005, their “La Bota” series has presented limited bottlings from historic soleras across Jerez, Sanlúcar, Montilla, and beyond. The wines are often sourced from forgotten barrels or selected in partnership with top producers and aged with meticulous attention to preserving the identity of place and flor. The “I Think” Manzanilla was born from their collaboration with Paul Shinnie and Rhone to Rioja, aiming to bring pure, unmasked Manzanilla to a wider audience.
Serving Suggestions:
Serve chilled around 45–50°F. A natural partner for oysters, cured jamón Ibérico, anchovies, or aged Manchego, this Manzanilla is equally suitable as an aperitif or as a table wine for tapas, grilled prawns, or artichokes. Drink young for brightness or let it evolve in the bottle for greater complexity.
Equipo Navazos Manzanilla en Rama, Andalucía, Spain, is a soulful wine that bridges tradition with audacity, a pure expression of coastal terroir and living flor.
