Distiller's Background:

Amazzoni is distilled at Cachoeira Farm, an 18th-century estate in the Paraíba Valley that was once a coffee plantation and was transformed into Brazil’s first dedicated gin distillery in 2015. Surrounded by rivers and imperial palm trees, the distillery blends history, creativity, and nature. The project was founded by Italian architect Arturo Isola, Brazilian visual artist Alexandre Mazza, and Argentine mixologist Tato Giovannoni, one of the world’s most acclaimed bartenders. Their shared passion for botanicals and innovation inspired them to craft a gin that tells the story of Brazil’s rich biodiversity through flavor, merging classic gin tradition with a distinctly local identity.
