Wine Dispensary Tasting Notes:
Intense dark black fruits with red fruit jam aromas. A fuller bodied wine with surprisingly crisp acidity. The finish gives us licorice and notes of baking spice as well.
Producer Notes:
An unusually founded producer from Spain; while most Spanish wineries are steeped with generations of traditions, Ego Bodegas was founded in 2011 by Santos Ortiz, a Spaniard, and Ioana Paunescu, a Romanian. They started the company with little money, but with a love and talent for wine they've accomplished a lot – even though some might say their methods were backwards. They now sell their wines to over 30 countries world-wide.
Pairs Best With:
Spicy Beef Paella
Red Sauce Pasta
Veal Stew
