Domaine Chavy-Chouet

Domaine Chavy-Chouet is a family-owned estate nestled in the heart of Burgundy, France, renowned for crafting some of the region’s most expressive wines. Spanning 15 hectares across prestigious villages such as Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet, St. Aubin, Volnay, and Pommard, the domaine boasts an impressive portfolio of premier cru vineyards and the monopole "Clos Corvées de Citeaux" in Meursault.

Under the stewardship of Romaric Chavy, the estate embraces a philosophy of minimal intervention, combining traditional practices with sustainable farming methods. The vineyards have been herbicide-free for over 30 years, relying on manual plowing to preserve soil health and biodiversity.

In the winery, Romaric Chavy follows a meticulous, terroir-driven approach. Whites are whole-bunch pressed, and reds are fully destemmed, with fermentations occurring spontaneously. Wines are aged with minimal new oak to allow the purity of the fruit and terroir to shine.

The result is a range of elegant, balanced wines that reflect both the unique character of each vineyard and Romaric’s dedication to excellence. Known for their structure, finesse, and minerality, Domaine Chavy-Chouet wines are a quintessential expression of Burgundy’s diverse and storied terroirs.
