Nocino is a traditional liqueur manually produced in Emilia Romagna, in Northern Italy. Organically grown black walnuts traditionally gathered when ripe, but before their woody shell has developed. The walnuts are cut and macerated in 95° alcohol with cloves, cinnamon sticks, sugar and water for approximately 60 days.

The Riccioni

  • 1 12 oz. bourbon, preferably Eagle Rare
  • 14 oz. Carpano Antica Formula Vermouth
  • 14 oz. fino sherry
  • 14 oz. nocino
  • 2 dashes orange bitters
  • Orange peel, for garnish

Walnut Old-fashioned

  • 2 ounces Calvados or Bourbon
  • 1/4 ounce nocino
  • 1/4 ounce maple syrup
  • 3 dashes Angostura bitters
