About Half Acre Beer Co: Half Acre Beer Co, one of Chicago’s pioneering breweries, was founded in 2007. Initially brewing in Black River Falls, Wisconsin, the brewery's early days were marked by a few bars and shops in Chicago willing to take a chance on their craft.
