Sensory Description: This IPA opens with a captivating burst of pine, grapefruit, and citrus on the nose, complemented by tropical hints of pineapple. On the palate, it delivers a crisp and bold hop presence, balancing resinous pine notes with juicy citrus and subtle malt sweetness. The assertive bitterness is well-structured, creating a punchy yet balanced experience that hop lovers crave. Its medium body and refreshing finish make it a quintessential West Coast IPA.

Brewer's Background: Fat Head's Brewery was born out of the convergence of two great ideas in 1992 when Glenn and Michelle Benigni opened a craft beer-centric restaurant in Pittsburgh. Their partnership with master brewer Matt Cole in 2009 led to the creation of Fat Head's brewpub in North Olmsted, Ohio, where the Head Hunter IPA quickly became a benchmark for hoppy beers. Over the years, Fat Head’s has won numerous awards for its innovative brews, including top honors for Head Hunter at both the World Beer Cup and Great American Beer Festival.

Serving Suggestions: Head Hunter IPA pairs excellently with bold flavors, such as grilled meats, spicy dishes, and rich cheeses. Its hoppy bitterness is perfect for cutting through fatty foods like burgers or barbecue. For the best experience, serve chilled at 45–50°F (7–10°C) to enhance its vibrant hop aromatics and refreshing bitterness.
