Made exclusively from estate-grown grapes, the Akutain Reserva is a testament to the careful balance of terroir, climate, and meticulous vineyard practices. The blend, predominantly Tempranillo with touches of Garnacha and Viura, is aged with precision to ensure a harmonious marriage of flavors and textures that are both classic and distinctively Akutain.

Bodega Akutain was founded by Juan JosŽ Pe–agarikano Akutain in the mid-70s, driven by a vision to produce authentic Rioja wines with a sense of place. Now helmed by his son, Jon Pe–agarikano Akutain, the winery continues to honor its heritage while embracing sustainable practices. Each wine is made on-site, from grape to bottle, with painstaking attention to detail. Their facilities include a beautiful cave cellar for aging and dedicated barrel rooms that ensure each vintage reaches its full potential.
